A career that makes a difference

Tutoring extends beyond academic assistance—it’s about shaping young lives and empowering young people both academically and personally. Many of the young people we support have special educational needs or experience social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, requiring the dedicated 1:1 teaching they deserve. Targeted Provision was founded to meet the need for educational services that prioritise the unique needs of each young person. With your friend’s expertise and compassion, they could make a life-changing impact, delivering the personalised support these young people need to flourish and reach their full potential.

What are the benefits?

1. Personal and professional growth

At Targeted Provision, we’re committed to the growth and well-being of our tutors. Your friend will gain access to a professional network of SEND Support Specialists who provide one-on-one support, expert advice, and regular check-ins. This ensures they’ll always feel valued and empowered in their role.

In addition, they’ll enjoy unlimited access to CPD resources through Tes, staying at the forefront of best practices in SEND support and tutoring. Plus, they’ll receive exclusive training through our in-house SEMH CPD Course, equipping them with essential strategies for supporting young people facing emotional and mental health challenges.

2. Competitive pay

Tutoring with us is as rewarding financially as it is personally. Tutors earn from £25 per hour for online sessions, with rates increasing to £35 per hour for working with young people who have more complex needs. Whether they’re looking for part-time work or aiming to build a long-term career, this competitive pay structure reflects their expertise and commitment.

3. Flexibility and work-life balance

Life can be busy, but tutoring with Targeted Provision offers unparalleled flexibility. Your friend can tailor their schedule to suit their lifestyle, choosing between online and in-person sessions. This adaptability allows them to balance their professional and personal commitments seamlessly.
