Why local authorities and schools work with us

We provide a full end-to-end service solution - placing vetted tutors and mentors, liaising with carers, teachers and children and delivering structured reporting to track progress and improve outcomes.

All of our tutors and mentors have experience dealing with young people who are disengaged with education and who have not had their needs met in mainstream schooling.

Our team has over 5 decades of experience working in special educational provision, including support for LAC, CIN, SEND and children in alternative provision. Our advisory board work in Virtual Schools, Special Schools and provide targeted training for tutors/mentors working with vulnerable young people.

We reach more vulnerable children. Our fees are structured such that we pay our specialists more and charge local authorities less. Our research suggests we can help 250% more children at our price point versus local authorities using staffing or specialist agencies.

Every member of our recruitment team, including the whole leadership team, has been through specific training on Safer Recruitment in Education and Safeguarding. Every specialist goes through a rigorous, safeguarding-led selection process. This includes a mandatory interview and a skills audit assessing for targeted training. All our tutors have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS.

Every tutor and mentor is supported by a consultant Designated Teacher and/or SENCO. Education is only half of the story - we focus on outcomes driven by successful multi-agency partnerships . Our central team supports every individual child:tutor/mentor relationship to ensure outcomes are closely monitored and information is shared appropriately.
